The Perfect Storm (tt0177971) Kaptan Billy Tyne and his six-member crew return from a long and exhausting swordfish trip. However, Captain Tyne is not satisfied with the unproductive journey and decides to set sail again to try their luck in the east. Initially reluctant, the tired crew eventually agrees due to their desire to earn money. Thus, with their six-member crew, they embark on a journey towards the east on their boat named Andrea Gail. The journey starts off smoothly, but quickly takes a turn when the weather suddenly worsens. Cut off from radio communication, the boat tries to return unaware of the approaching storm's magnitude. Captain Tyne and his crew find themselves in the midst of one of the biggest storms in history, with waves reaching heights of 30-35 meters.
