The Music Never Stopped (tt1613062), the film written by Oliver Sacks, the author of Awakenings/Uyanışları, tells an impressive story once again. Gabriel Sawyer (Lou Taylor Pucci), a young man, develops a tumor in his brain and the only solution is surgery. However, the tumor has caused significant damage to Gabriel's memory. He has lost the ability to create new memories. For Gabriel, the past, present, and future are indistinguishable. His father, Henry (J.K. Simmons), believes that he can communicate with his son through music and takes him to music therapist Dr. Dianne Daly (Julia Ormond).
