The Breaker Upperers, Mel and Jen, who discover that they have been played by the same man 15 years ago. Sharing the same pain and mindset, they quickly become close friends and start a small company called "Breaker Upperers" that specializes in breaking up couples for a fee. As they approach their thirties, their business is thriving. They have become a sarcastic, platonic duo who keep their emotions at bay and are dependent on each other.
