Konusu ve Detaylı Bilgi
Sophie's Choice (tt0084707) William Styron's famous novel comes to life in this tragic tale of a woman haunted by the choices she was forced to make during the Holocaust. Polish immigrant Sophie (Meryl Streep) can never escape the burden of the "choice" she had to make in a Nazi concentration camp. When she enters into a relationship with the Jewish-American Nathan (Kevin Kline), who is obsessed with the Holocaust, she befriends young writer Stingo (Peter MacNicol) in New York. Stingo witnesses the destructive nature of Sophie's nightmares and Nathan's fixation, leading to a devastating outcome. Sophie's Choice, with its record-breaking success and critical acclaim, continues to be a timeless masterpiece, featuring Meryl Streep's Academy Award-winning performance even after 30 years.
