Konusu ve Detaylı Bilgi
Rumble Fish (tt0086216), Rusty James, an unemployed young man who spends his time in the town's pool hall, eagerly awaits the return of his older brother, Motorcycle Boy, who has been living a sort of exile in California for years. Motorcycle, the charismatic figure of gang wars, has always been a role model for Rusty.
Motorcycle does return, but things don't get better for Rusty. The era of gang wars among the youth is slowly coming to an end, both externally and internally, in a world that is no longer the same as the one in which the two brothers grew up. Motorcycle knows this, but does Rusty?
Rumble Fish is one of the two films Francis Ford Coppola made for Zoetrope Studios in the early 80s, the common thread being that both films are based on S.E. Hinton's novels. Apart from similar sociological themes related to youth, both films also serve as showcases for talented young actors who would later become stars. Coppola chose to film Rumble Fish in black and white, showcasing not only aesthetics but also an artistic approach to content.
