Philippe, a kind-hearted and mature podiatrist, is divorced from his first wife. His fiancee Carole, a woman in her 40s with two children, is still struggling to come to terms with being abandoned by her younger lover. Carole's children, Julien and Manon, look down on Philippe due to their age difference. In an attempt to win them over, Philippe promises Julien that he can choose their destination for the summer vacation if he passes all his exams. Philippe hopes that this promise will never come true, but to his shock, Julien passes all his exams and chooses Ibiza as their vacation spot. As they embark on this surreal holiday together, they discover that they have more in common than they initially thought.
